A Jess… tocca in fine raccontare anche alla Ductus oltre che al suo povero compagno, che non sa più su cosa posare lo sguardo per via della situazione imbarazzante, della bella idea che ha avuto durante la riunione: ovvero di offrire il proprio aiuto al neo investito generale del Sabbat. Qui nell’istante in cui la Lasombra, Sarcastica, le propone a questo punto… se farà bella figura… di diventare una Templare come premio per la sua buona volontà. Ovviamente si trattava solo di velenoso sarcasmo per insegnare alla giovinetta un po’ troppo poco accorta a cosa possono condurre azioni avventate, ma è stata più che sufficiente a terrorizzare a morte entrambi i neo sabbatici. L’ordine perentorio comunque è invece serissimo: fare del suo meglio, fare tutto ciò che sarà necessario per passare l’esame che si è andata a cercare… che poi è effettivamente l’unico modo per uscirne viva molto probabilmente.

It was obviously just venomous sarcasm, to teach the blunt youngling to what hasty actions lead to, but it has been enough to scare the hell outta both the neo sabbatic. The categoric order was, instead, really serious: she has to do her best, and do whatever it’s necessary to pass the test she went looking for…. Which is probably the only way to walk away from it.
